BOE to approve new board policy

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Baldwin County Board of Education will discuss a new board policy regarding the seclusion and restraint of students during a meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at the board office.

Among other items listed on the agenda, the school board will also elect a chair and vice chair for 2013 and set the time, date and place for regular meetings, all part of the school board’s annual reorganization.

Members will also be elected to serve on various committees, including construction, finance, Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) Legislative liaison, GSBA legislative liaison alternate, Head Start liaison, maintenance and transportation and personnel.

The board office is located off the U.S. Highway 441 bypass.
