More than 60 youth in the High Achievers program’s summer camp showcased their talents, knowledge and art work of various countries to family and friends during the camp's culmination ceremony Thursday.
Area youth presented profiles of Botswana, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and Canada through energizing songs, art and dance.
Funded by the Georgia Department of Human Services, the High Achievers program is a partnership between Georgia College, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, YES (Youth Enrichment Services) Program, Baldwin County schools, Baldwin County Parks and Recreation Department and the Milledgeville community.
The program aims to help every young person become well-rounded leaders within the community and prepared to live in global society.
