As a way to continue the excitement for youth at The Fun! Factory, 11 new non-violent arcade games were delivered Monday, making a total of 17 games within the arcade area.

The Fun! Factory leased the new games from Vision Amusements of Lawrenceville, Ga.

"We want to keep kids interested, off the streets and give them something to do," said Patti Rushin, co-owner of The Fun! Factory. "It’s something we aspire to and we’re excited about it."

A few of the new games include Big Bass Wheel Pro, Slam A Winner, Guitar Hero and Fast & Furious Super Cars in addition to a new kids section with Wonder Wheel.

An Oak Hill Middle School band fundraiser is slated from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday for $5 per admission, which includes skate rental. Of each ticket sale, $3 will go back to the band program.
