Local churches unite for fall concert

Choir directors and musicians from local churches are rehearsing for Oconee Area Citizen Advocacy’s upcoming autumn concert titled “Voices of the Beloved Community.”

The third annual concert will feature musical performances by Flagg Chapel Baptist Church, Flipper Chapel AME Church, Northridge Christian Church and First United Methodist Church. Flipper Chapel’s Fresh Anointing Liturgical Dance Ministry will also take part in the performance.

The event is slated at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Northridge Christian Church on Log Cabin Road.

Admission is free and a reception will follow.
