Old Capital Museum presents ‘Antiques, Collectibles and Lots of Other Great Stuff’

MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia’s Old Capital Museum staff and volunteers prepare for the museum’s annual ‘Antiques, Collectibles, and Lots of Other Great Stuff’ sale and silent auction fundraiser slated for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Old Joiner’s Market, 110 N. Wayne St.

Proceeds benefit the historic 1825 Brown-Stetson-Sanford House Museum.

"The sale gets bigger every year, and this year we have more items than ever before including antiques, lots of furniture, collectibles, artwork, decorative items, home decor and lots of other great stuff,"said Sally Holmes, museum assistant. "There is something for every budget and taste."

Those purchasing a ticket for the Friday Preview Party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. will enjoy heavy hors d’ oeuvres and early shopping. Preview Party tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Museum 478-453-1803 or Grant’s Jewelers.
