AGT is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of $1 million and a show as a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip. Results are decided by an audience vote.
Ranging in ages from 14 to 18, the local dance group performs hip-hop, dub step, pop and can break dance. Silence hopes to open up a dance school in Milledgeville in the near future as a way to allow youth and teens to turn their energy into positive movements.
Members of Silence are Johnson, Chris Guy, Judd Trinidad, Neil Dayang, Talik Watkins, Jamar Tuft, Lianne Tran and Royce Boddie.
“I just would like to first thank God for the opportunity. I never would think that AGT would look out to a group in this small city. The great thing about it is that AGT came to Silence; we didn’t go to them,” Moss said. “[Silence] has been practicing hard and it’s time to show AGT what they got and put Milledgeville, Ga. on the map.”
