Oak Hill showcases diversity

MILLEDGEVILLE — Oak Hill Middle School hosted its third annual Cultural Diversity Night Thursday to showcase the culture of the school family.

School teachers, faculty, staff, parents and members of the community were present.

Student displays highlighted various countries and the school band and chorus performed musical selections. Student McKenzie Jones read an inspirational poem and Kiara Daniels read her student essay.

Georgia College’s Diversity Retention and Training Coordinator Emmanuel Little was the guest speaker for the event.
