Schools help 'Stuff The Truck' with canned goods

MILLEDGEVILLE — Life Enrichment Center consumers "Stuff The Truck" with boxes full of 2,017 donated canned goods and nonperishable food items at Midway Elementary School with the help of Beta Club members Tuesday morning.

Items were also collected at Blandy Elementary, Eagle Ridge and John Milledge Academy before unloading the truck at Chard Wray food pantry.

Baldwin High School and Oak Hill Middle School will continue collecting donations through Nov. 20 to help fill shelves at local food pantries and feed those less fortunate.

Dunkin’ Donuts and Firehouse Subs is also accepting donations.
