MILLEDGEVILLE — The Kitchens Road Old Time Family Festival returns Nov. 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to show people a setting “where everything old is new again.”
This festival is a step back in time with mules and antique tractors plowing, antique gasoline engines skipping and popping, blacksmiths forging their metals, artists and crafters displaying their creations and a group of old time cooks competing for the Collard Green crown.
The festival also features live country music, church choirs, local bands, a car, truck and tractor show and children activities to name just a sample of the many weekend events.
The festival organizers encourage a fun, clean environment for families to enjoy how country life used to be.
Kids 12 years old and under get in free. Adults pay $5.
That weekend, all roads lead to 370 A Kitchens Rd., the last road in Baldwin County on Highway 49 just past County Line Baptist Church in Haddock, Ga.
