MILLEDGEVILLE — Baldwin High School students received career advice while networking with various business and industry representatives during Career Day Tuesday.
Representatives from the Department of Natural Resources, Horace Mann Insurance, the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry, Twin Lakes Library System, Baldwin County Family Connection, Chick-fil-A, Z97.7 FM and Baxley Electric helped answer questions.
Career and technical student organizations were also set up to recruit students, including Future Farmers of America, SkillsUSA, Future Business Leaders of America and Health Occupations Students of America.
High school juniors and seniors experienced mock interviews and also attended mini-workshops to learn business etiquette, how to dress for success, create professional resumes and the future outlook of Milledgeville-Baldwin County.
