Creekside Elementary School students raised $36,000 through a PTA fundraiser held in September.

As an incentive for the nearly 40 students that sold 25 items or more of cookie dough and other sweet treats, students were rewarded Tuesday with the chance to ride in a limousine to Chick-fil-A for lunch while escorted by a Baldwin County sheriff’s officer.

‘The PTA is very active and wonderful. The kids worked really hard to raise money,’ school Principal Tracy Clark said. ‘I thank all the parents, PTA and students for their support at Creekside in raising that much money.’
