Individuals interested in applying for a position at Hibachi Express can fill out an application at the restaurant from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“We’re looking for full-time and part-time,” Sissy said. “We need to hire about four or five plus a kitchen staff of three. The main chef will be my husband.”
The restaurant is slated to operate seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday with extended hours on the weekend. The eatery’s seating capacity fits around 50 and a drive-thru is also available.
As the creator of the restaurant, Terry Ho owns nine restaurants located in Albany, Americus, Columbus, Leesburg, Valdosta, Mobile, Ala. and Tallahassee, Fla.
“The Milledgeville restaurant is locally owned by the Chows under my concept. I have one opening in Moultrie in about two months and another one opening in Saraland, Ala. this late summer,” Ho said. “Hibachi Express will offer quality Japanese food fast at an economical price. Milledgeville is a great community with college students and locals, and it’s just a beautiful area to be. Once you eat here, you won’t eat anywhere else. We’re excited to be here and hopefully the locals will welcome us with open arms and give us a shot.”
