Creekside sign shows off business community support

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce’s Partners In Education committee held a ribbon cutting celebration at Creekside Elementary School to recognize the support of the local business community.

Located at the front entrance of the school, educators, volunteers and community members gathered around the sign that displays 22 names of active partners, including Lowe’s, Heritage Printing, Lyn Chandler, The Brick, Coleman Landscaping, Yearwood Technology, Windstream, Dr. Stephen J. Langston, the Chamber, Coldwell Bankers, Z-97 Radio, Paul Dean, Chick-fil-A, Dr. C. Seth Rion, Digital Bridges, Milledgeville Housing Authority, Merritt Carpet Cleaning, The Union-Recorder, Dr. Michael A. Duke, Sonic Drive In, The Bellamy Student Apartments and the Animal Rescue Foundation.

Heritage Printing and Lowe’s donated the initial Early Learning sign and will continue being in charge of creating future signs at other participating schools, including Georgia Military College, John Milledge Academy, E.B.L.A. Academy, Sinclair Christian Academy and schools within the Baldwin County school system.
