Flash flooding warning today

MILLEDGEVILLE —  

A flash flood warning has been issued for Baldwin and surrounding counties. Heavy rains and scattered thunderstorms are expected today across the region. According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, flash flooding is possible and scattered thunderstorms are likely throughout the day. 

Highs expected today near 67. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
