Allied Arts accepting Oconee Artists Exhibition entries

MILLEDGEVILLE — Allied Arts is currently accepting entries for the 31st annual Oconee Artists Exhibition. Entries will be accepted through Friday, April 11.

This juried exhibition is open to all adult artists (age 18 and older) who live in central Georgia and practice a visual art form.

The six eligible categories are drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. Artists may enter a maximum of three pieces for an entry fee of $20.

Cash awards include Best of Show award of $100; second place award of $75 and third place award of $50. All artists will be honored and winners announced at an opening reception on Sunday, April 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Marlor House, 201 North Wayne St., Milledgeville. The reception will be hosted by the Milledgeville Civic Woman’s Club and the Friends of Allied Arts.

The Oconee Artists Exhibition XXI will be on display through Friday, May 30.
