MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia College’s J. Whitney Bunting College of Business will host its 15th annual Women’s Leadership Forum series beginning Sept. 10 at the Magnolia Ballroom on the Georgia College campus in Milledgeville.
The program allows women to network, improve their leadership skills and hear from other women across the state and region.
“Jo Ann Jones, former dean of the College of Business, started this series to allow women the opportunity to learn and work together,” said Kari Brown, who coordinates the event. “All women in central Georgia are welcome to join us. It’s a great way get involved in your community.”
This year’s speakers include: Sandy Baxter, executive director for Communities in Schools Milledgeville-Baldwin; Dr. Juanita Johnson-Baily, award winning author and director for the Institute for Women’s Studies at the University of Georgia; Helen Kim Ho, executive director and founder of the Asian American Legal Advocacy Center; Lisa McLendon, executive director of The Allman Brothers Band Museum; and Dr. Kelli Brown, provost and vice president of academic affairs at Georgia College.
Each luncheon runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mark your calendar for the following dates:

Women interested in making connections with and hearing from other dynamic leaders from across the state can purchase a membership to all eight events for $150 or individual sessions tickets for $25.
