MILLEDGEVILLE — Shiloh Baptist Church provided more than 400 Thanksgiving meals to the community Thursday as part of their fourth annual free holiday spread.

Church members served turkey, ham, chicken, dressing, broccoli, potato salad, peas, string beans, rolls and cakes to all those who stopped by.

"Last year we fed 400 and this year we’re shooting for 500," said Willie Taylor, church elder. "We’re doing it to give back to the community and show that we’re here to help. A lot of people don’t have food this time of year so we want to supply a meal for them."

The church, located in the Harrisburg neighborhood, also held a motivational Thanksgiving program for students of the Early Learning Center, senior citizens and local veterans.
