State senate candidate forum tonight

MILLEDGEVILLE —  

The Milledgeville Area Patriots will host local candidates for the District 25 state Senate seat tonight. The community is invited to attend. 

Candidates Burt Jones, republican, and Darrell Black, democrat, are both expected to attend. According to a press release on the event, both candidates have been invited to speak on their candidacy and their goals if elected. 

The forum will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 640 Meriwether Road, at 6:30 p.m. 

Previously, the Milledgeville Area Patriots hosted candidates for county commission and state House of Representatives. Black and Jones were unable to attend the previous forum due to scheduling conflicts.
