MILLEDGEVILLE — Representatives of Communities In Schools of Milledgeville-Baldwin County (CISMBC) visited Creekside Elementary School Wednesday to promote the mission of the organization as a way to bridge the gap between educators and the community.

Around seven to 15 students from each grade level met with the CISMBC representatives to play organized games and discuss the nonprofit’s goal. Students also learned about Georgia Gives Day on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and were told to encourage their parents to donate.

Students signed a pledge to do ‘Whatever It Takes’ to stay in school.

The elementary school tour is one of several upcoming CISMBC awareness events targeting Blandy Hills and Eagle Ridge.
