MILLEDGEVILLE —

IHOP of Milledgeville and its restaurants across the country offered free short stacks of its famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In return of three free pancakes, guests were encouraged to donate funds to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s program at Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

IHOP served 4.5 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day last year, and pancake lovers donated nearly $3 million to children’s charities.

The Milledgeville IHOP raised $915 in donations last year.
