MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia Military College hosted a blood drive Tuesday to support the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP), the official United States military blood program.

The school aimed to collect 100 pints of blood as employees and students ended up donating 80 pints in the Cordell Events Center.

The ASBP manages the blood program for the Department of Defense with a mission to provide quality blood products and services for members, veterans and their families in both peace and war.
