Dog-Gone Benefit for ARF today

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Milledgeville Humane Society will present a special concert tonight to benefit Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). 

The Dog-Gone Benefit Concert will be held at Cowboys, 2657 N. Columbia St. and will feature live music by Hott With Harry Leggs. Doors open at 8 p.m. Music begins at 9 p.m.

Proceeds from the show will go to support ARF, which will mark its 30 anniversary this year. 

According to a press release on the event, Hott With Harry Leggs hails from Nashville, Tenn. The band will perform a medley of rock songs. 

“This is a great band that is playing for a great cause. I'm excited for the concert because it's a good way to celebrate the humane society in a fun way,” said Katie Vandiver, ARF employee, of the event.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Advance tickets are available at ARF, 711 S. Wilkinson St., Cowboys Milledgeville, Aubri Lane’s on Wayne Street and the Animal Hospital of Milledgeville.
