Merritt Professional Carpet Cleaning takes pride in reputation

(Continued)

MILLEDGEVILLE —

“What sets us apart from other businesses is that we don't see our work as just another job,” said Merritt. “We take pride in our reputation and strive to uphold it by providing dependable and professional service at all times.”

Stephen Merritt founded Merritt Professional Carpet Cleaning and Restoration in 1995. In 1996, Merritt bought a local carpet cleaning company and added it to the client base. After marrying his wife, Natalie, in the same year, she became a part of the business and today the entire family plays a role in the maintenance and care of the company.

“We realized early on that most carpet cleaning companies were not providing good service and did not seem to know about cleaning, either,” said Merritt. “We knew that if we were able to provide a professional cleaning service to the residents of Milledgeville they would appreciate it and word of mouth would spread.”

In the beginning, Merritt realized the value of being knowledgeable about the equipment and services they were providing. Employees immersed themselves in attending certification classes, continuing education classes, studying cleaning magazines, learning manuals, and networking with other professionals.

“As a result, we began to be the number one company to call to solve many of the difficult cleaning and restoration concerns for homeowners, realtors, carpet retailers, property managers, insurance agents, and insurance adjusters,” Merritt said.

Over the years Merritt has continued to build his company through excellent customer service, education and quality work.

“We will always continue to raise the bar for professional and honest service.”
