Learning Safari pre-k youth enjoyed various fun activities incorporating math, music and movement Wednesday with John Doyle, a teaching artist with Alliance Theatre of Atlanta.
Doyle, a professional actor, was able to visit and teach students made possible through a Pre-K Summer Transition grant-based program.
"Only five classes in Baldwin County received this grant. The Pre-K Summer Transition program is a six-week intensive program. This is our first time applying and being awarded," said Lee Blount, a lead pre-k teacher at Learning Safari. "Hopefully we can continue each summer because it’s very positive for the kids and they are really enjoying it."
