MILLEDGEVILLE — The Milledgeville Players kicked off the classic musical ‘Kiss Me Kate’ Thursday evening at Russell Auditorium on the Georgia College campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce representatives.
The play’s opening night also supports local teen Josh Thompson, who is battling cancer, by providing 10 percent of box office sales to Georgia Cancer Support to help the Thompson family.
Performances will continue at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a Sunday matinee starting at 2 p.m.
General admission tickets are $15 and students with a valid ID can purchase tickets at the door for $10. Tickets are also available in advance at www.milledgevilleplayers.org.
