MILLEDGEVILLE — The Dixie Aeromasters, a radio controlled (RC) model airplane club, hosts its annual Toys for Tots Fly-In Saturday.

Everyone is welcome to come out and support the annual fundraiser at Overland Way in Gray. Admission is free.

Fly-in events include raffles, great food and a noontime show. More than 12 sponsors donated prizes for Saturday.

The big spectator raffle prize is a 24-inch flat screen TV.

Visitors of all ages can see RC planes, jets, helicopters, skydivers and Georgia's largest RC plane.

Commissioners Field in Gray provides area enthusiasts and beginners a place to fly.

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) sanctioned Aeromasters use the reclaimed landfill facility. Every chance they get, the group does fly-in sessions for local youth.

The club is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that wants to bring more youth to the RC field.

For more fly-in info contact Wayne Stevenson at 478-747-4263.
