MILLEDGEVILLE — The Keep Milledgeville-Baldwin Beautiful (KMBB) project is back with enthusiastic membership and board structure.

KMBB executive director Andrew Davis received a $1,000 seed check from Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority Chair Quay Hurt Fuller Wednesday.

The chapter recently adopted the CSH Pecan Grove as part of its community cleanup goals. KMBB restarted as an affiliate of the nationwide program Keep America Beautiful.

The reinvigorated mission is to keep Milledgeville and Baldwin County beautiful through various programs, events and community activities. The chapter already picked up trash at the Baldwin County Airport and Industrial Park corridors to end 2013.
