MILLEDGEVILLE — Good morning. Here’s a look at what’s happening today.





Weather: 





Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds up to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 60 percent. Tonight showers and thunderstorms likely in the evening then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 70s. Light and variable winds. Chance of precipitation 60 percent.

Best bet for today:

BINGO is held at the American Legion on Log Cabin Road at 7 p.m. No one under the age of 18 is permitted. Refreshments are sold by the Ladies Auxiliary. 478-452-8538

June is Fireworks Safety Month. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, fireworks are involved in thousands of injuries treated in U.S. hospital emergency rooms each year.
