The YES Program is taking applications for the Baldwin High School Summer YES Program (June 2-26, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-noon) for all rising ninth grade students. The Milledgeville Lions Club, assisted by Milledgeville fire fighters, will conduct its 29th Fishing for Sight fish-a-thon May 17 from 10 a.m. to noon (with a rain date of May 24). Kids five through 13 will compete for trophies at the Baldwin County Recreation Center’s big pond. Live bait, cane poles and a limited number of buckets will be provided.
