The Pagans were wanted for several weeks by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Register, aka “Peanut,” was the least involved in the January crime, and was caught soon after the incident and entered a plea weeks ago, according to Bradley.
The father and son pair was apprehended Feb. 15 in Wilkinson County. The Pagans were charged for several Wilkinson County burglaries prior to arrest.
Bradley said father-son crime duos are rare. When they do occur, the older person typically orchestrates the unlawful activity.
“Usually the older family member will talk the younger family member into something," Bradley said. "In this case it appears that the idea and the motivating force originated with the son.”
