MILLEDGEVILLE — The Leave A Legacy fundraising campaign for Baldwin High School’s fine arts program was able to successfully raise funds to purchase a new baby grand piano.

Good Guys Moving & Delivery company of Macon delivered the 6-foot black satin Kawai baby grand piano last week from Georgia Music.

School Choral Director Kathy Carroll played some of her favorite tunes on the baby grand piano to check the sound of each key.

The fundraising campaign allows individuals to purchase an engraved personalized silver plate in honor of or in memory of for $150 to be placed on a seat’s armrest of their choice in the auditorium. The campaign will continue to help with other needs of the facility, including lights, projectors and sound enhancements.
