The Georgia State Patrol is conducting a crash investigation on an accident that took place Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 441.
According to GSP post employee Troy Flury, at approximately 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, a 2001 Saturn, driven by a 20 year-old female of Athens, Ga. was turning left onto GA 24 (US 441). She then pulled into the path of a 1993 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 48 year-old male of Greensboro.
Three injuries occurred as a result of the crash and the driver of the Saturn was transported to the Medical Center of Macon. The female was cited for Failure to Yield while turning left.
Master Trooper Gerald Coffee is actively working on the crash investigation.
