UPDATE: Closures and delayed openings for Wednesday

MILLEDGEVILLE — Due to the inclement weather and freezing roadways in the area, Georgia College is closed on Wednesday. For a list of other area closures and delayed openings, see below.



The closure means that all classes and activities on GC’s Milledgeville, Macon and Robins campuses are cancelled.

 

Essential employees are the only Georgia College personnel who should plan to come to campus.

 

Information regarding the official reopening of the campus will be communicated in a timely manner via email, the university’s web page, Twitter and Facebook accounts.

River Edge Behavioral Health Center’s outpatient sites will be closed on Wednesday. All River Edge residential/crisis sites will remain open. River Edge’s safety officer made the decision in consultation with Emergency Services, including the Georgia State Patrol, to ensure the safety of River Edge clients and employees.

At this time, all River Edge staff are expected to report for regular work hours on Thursday.

• Milledgeville City Hall - closed all day

• Baldwin County Courthouse non-emergency departments - all day

• Magnolia State Bank (Gray and Milledgeville branches) - will open at 10 a.m.

• Baldwin County Schools

• John Milledge Academy

• Putnam County Schools

• Georgia Military College Prep

•River Edge Behavioral Health Center’s outpatient sites

•Jackson's on Sinclair

• Georgia College

• Sinclair Christian Academy

• Wilkinson County Schools
