ATLANTA — A wind advisory is in effect for much of Georgia, including Baldwin County, until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The high wind warning went into effect at 8 a.m. Monday. Other counties also issued the advisory include, Bibb, Hancock, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Jones, Putnam, Oconee, Twiggs, Washington and Wilkinson counties.
For Baldwin County, Monday's forecast in is mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s and northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Monday evening is expected to become mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s.
Tuesday's forecast in central Georgia is mostly sunny with highs around 60 and west winds 15 to 25 mph. The evening temperature is expected to drop to the low 30s.
