MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia College will hold a forum for candidates running for Milledgeville mayor and city council positions.

The forum will take place Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the Magnolia Ballroom of the Student Activities Center at 7:30 p.m.

Sponsored by several departments and organizations on campus, the event is free and open to all community members to attend.

“We want to ensure that students at Georgia College and members of the Milledgeville community become more politically aware,” said Juawn A. Jackson, president pro tempore of the Student Government Association. “The Student Government Association understands the importance of having an engaged community. An engaged community increases awareness of the world around us.”
