Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble to conduct workshops, performances

MILLEDGEVILLE —  

The Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble (CPRD) from Denver, Colo. will spend a three day residency in Milledgeville Wednesday.

During Wednesday, April 17 to Friday, April 19, the eight company members will conduct lectures, demonstrations, master classes and workshops for high school and Georgia College dance minor program students.

The company will present a matinee performance of ‘DreamCatchers’ at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Baldwin Fine Arts Center for $5 per ticket.

A mainstage performance is slated at 8 p.m. Friday in Russell Auditorium for $15 per ticket, members of the Friends of Allied Arts are $12, and Georgia College students are admitted with their Bobcat ID.

As one of the oldest and most awarded dance companies in the United States, the mission of CPRD is to foster appreciation of and to develop new audiences for dance.
