Three of the deaths are traffic-related fatalities that are being investigated by police in Smyrna, College Park and Newnan, according to a press release issued by the GSP.

According to the GSP, 309 crashes and 126 injuries have been reported as well.

GSP Post 33 in Milledgeville and local law enforcement agencies have not investigated any fatalities. One fatality in Grovetown has been reported for Troop E, which includes Milledgeville, Monroe, Grovetown, Washington and Madison.
