Communities In Schools of Milledgeville-Baldwin County (CISMBC) and Walmart will provide nearly 320 school supplies to help stock up supply closets at local schools to aid underprivileged students.

Also in collaboration with 13WMAZ and Baldwin County Family Connection, this year’s annual Back to School Supply Drive’s collection of learning materials will be distributed this week to the Early Learning Center, Creekside Elementary, Eagle Ridge Elementary, Midway Elementary and Baldwin High School.

Donated supplies include paper, glue sticks, crayons, markers, rulers, folders, notebooks, mesh book bags and other basic school supplies.

"We thank everyone who donated school supplies. It was definitely more than expected. We’re excited to get them into the schools," said Jessica Choice, CISMBC site service director. "We also thank Walmart for their support; without them this drive wouldn’t have been successful."
