Hosted by the Georgia College GIVE Center and SpectrumPR, the annual ‘Bras for a Cause’ fundraiser was held on front campus this week, costing $1 to vote for the best bra featured on the clothesline display.

For $15, students and organizations purchased bras for the decorating contest earlier this month as a way to raise funds for the annual ‘Survivors In Pink’ event, which honors breast cancer survivors from Baldwin County and surrounding areas. The winning bra submission will receive a deluxe gift basket before being auctioned off at the event benefiting Milledgeville’s breast cancer survivor group — Faith, Hope and Love.

The ‘Survivors in Pink’ event is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Maxwell Student Union’s University Banquet room.
