Georgia College hosting Congressional Republican Primary Candidate Forum

MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia College will hold a Community Choices, Your Voices forum for candidates running for the vacant 10th Congressional District seat on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in Magnolia Ballroom of the Student Activities Center at 7 p.m. 

Congressman Paul Broun vacated his Congressional seat to run for the U.S. Senate. Jody Hice, Donna Sheldon, Stephen Simpson, Mike Collins, Gary Gerrard, and Brian Slowinski are the Republicans vying for election.

The forum is free and open to the public and sponsored by the Student Government Association, College Republicans, Young Democrats, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society, Delta Sigma Theta, the Department of Government & Sociology and the GC American Democracy Project, the Community Choices, Your Voices.
