Oak Hill garden gets a boost

MILLEDGEVILLE —

Oak Hill Middle School’s Eco Club received $1,520 Tuesday from the Washington Electric Foundation through its Operation Round Up.

The funds will be used to help sustain the school’s community garden and for the purchase of supplies.

Baldwin County Commissioner Emily Davis, District 1, plans to share the news about the generous donation at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission meeting in Macon Thursday.
