Local leaders updated on workforce related issues during summit

MILLEDGEVILLE —

Local business and industry leaders, along with state economic development officials gathered at Magnolia Ballroom Wednesday as Milledgeville played host to the Middle Georgia Economic Alliance Workforce Summit.

The half-day session featured breakout sessions on human resources topics as well as a session on new federal labor and health care laws presented by Stan Wilson, managing partner of Ellarbee, Thompson Sapp & Wilson. Chris Clark, Georgia Chamber of Commerce president and CEO also presented to the group.
