Someone reported that an unknown person attempted to use credit card that was reported lost or stolen on Oct. 4, a sheriff’s report states.
— Burglary
Someone reported a burglary at a home on Park Avenue Thursday, a sheriff’s report states. Miscellaneous jewelry items and a .32 caliber gun were reported missing.
— Burglary
Someone reported a burglary at an auto salvage business on Ga. Highway 49 sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning, a sheriff’s report states. According to the report, an unknown person made entry through a window. Two 10-inch speakers and two amps were reported missing.

Someone reported that an unknown person entered a vehicle at an unknown time and location and took two bottles of prescription medicines, two credit cards and a debit card contained in a purse, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported that an unknown person pulled a small section of masonry siding from a rental home on S. Edwards street sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 6, a sheriff’s report states.

A 25-year-old man was arrested Friday on charges of a robbery by snatching after snatching a $10 bill from someone and running away, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported the theft of 75 books from the front porch of a house on Scott Hill Street Friday, a sheriff’s report states.

A 34-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly breaking an electrical meter at a home on Cook Street after the victim wouldn’t let the man inside the property, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported a white man in a black truck pumped $20 in gas Sunday at a gas station on Ga. Highway 49, purchased several items inside the store and then drove off without paying for the gas, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported the theft of a central air conditioning unit from a vacant home on Green Street Saturday morning, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported the theft of a tool box and a four wheeler from a home on Edward Hill Road sometime between Thursday and Friday, a sheriff’s report states.

Someone reported a burglary at a trailer on Ivey Drive Sunday after finding a sliding glass door broken, a sheriff’s report states. Several items of clothing and pairs of shoes were reported missing.

Someone reported the theft of two musical instruments, an antique guitar and a wooden snare drum, from a church on Log Cabin Road Sunday, a sheriff’s report states. According to the report, the musicians were performing at a church anniversary party, put the instruments in a storage room while on break and came back to find them
missing.

Someone reported a burglary at a home on Sugarberry Drive Friday, a sheriff’s report states. A 9 mm pistol and a plastic jug of coins were reported missing.

Someone reported that an unknown person entered a home on Roberts Drive and knocked over three TVs and squirted hair remover on the carpet in several rooms, a sheriff’s report states.

A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday on Second Street for driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane after leaving the scene of an accident near the intersection of Roberson Mill Road and Garrett Way, a sheriff’s report states.
— Driving with a suspended license
A 37-year-old man was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license after an officer pulled over the car for failure to wear a seat beat, a sheriff’s report states.
— Obstruction of officers, criminal trespass
A 24-year-old man was arrested for two outstanding warrants Oct. 7 after fleeing from a traffic stop at a Vinson Highway convenience store on foot, a sheriff’s report states. According to the report, the man was found hiding in the bathtub of a vacant home.

— Theft by shoplifting
A 31 year-old-man was arrested Monday and charged with shoplifting after he was found concealing items on his person and later placing items inside a trash can in the bathroom of a Vinson Highway convenience store, a police report states. Several candy items, valued at around $12, were supposedly taken, according to the report.
— Criminal trespass
Someone reported that an unknown person tore down a rain gutter at an office at S. Wilkinson Street sometime between Friday night and Monday morning, a police report states.
— Theft by entering auto
Someone reported the theft of a gun and an iPod from a vehicle on S. Irwin Street sometime between Friday and Monday, a police report states.
— Theft by shoplifting
A 35-year-old man was arrested Monday after trying to take three beers from a S. Wayne Street convenience store by concealing the items in his pants, a police report states.
— Burglary
Someone reported that an unknown person entered a W. Charlton Street residence through a window and took a brown billfold containing $14 cash, a drivers license, Social Security card and birth certificate, a police report states.
