5:30 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville meets at Bartram Forest on Carl Vinson Road for its weekly mountain bike ride for all levels. Ride at your own pace.

Saturday, Aug. 30
8 a.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville hosts a family bicycle ride at the Oconee River Greenway and Riverwalk.
4 to 7 p.m.: Twin Bridges Fire Station 4, at 561 Twin Bridges Road in Eatonton, holds its annual fish fry. Plates are $6 each for adults and $2 for children 12 and under and include catfish, hushpuppies, French fries, cole slaw, iced tea, and a slice of pound cake. Sodas will be sold separately.
