10 a.m.: Oconee Valley Family YMCA meets at People’s Bank at Harmony Road and Hwy. 44.
10:30 to 11 a.m.: Children’s Story Time will be held at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library.
Noon to 4 p.m.: Harriet’s Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open in Room 413 of Oconee Regional Medical Center.
1 to 1:30 p.m.: Children’s Story Time will be held at the Lake Sinclair Library.
3 p.m.: “The Mourning After” a bereavement group sponsored by Hospice Care Options is held at the First Baptist Church on S. Liberty Street in Milledgeville. The event is free and open to the public. (478) 453-8572
3:30 to 4 p.m.: Children’s Story Time will be held at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library.
5:30 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville meets in the parking lot behind Oconee Outfitters for its weekly road ride. Beginner pace for first hour, moderate pace later.
6 p.m.: The Mohawk Faith-Based Committee will meet in Mohawk Conference Room on Roberson Mill Road.

Saturday, July 12
Girls Scouts will hold a weekend camp at Camp Manipines on Lake Sinclair July 18-20. Cost is $40 for Girl Scouts and $50 for non Girl Scouts. There will be lots of old fashioned Girl Scout fun: canoeing, fire building, games, crafts, songs, smores. Girls from first through eighth grade are invited. 8 a.m.: The 100 Black Men of Milledgeville and Baldwin County meet at the Allen’s Market building on Wayne Street.
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Chapter of Project Linus meets in the Education Center of Park Tower at Oconee Regional Medical Center. Attendees should bring their lunch.
10 a.m.: The Milledgeville Amateur Radio testing team conducts licensing tests for all three license levels at the Mary Vinson Library. Walk-ins are welcome. (478) 452-6394.
11 a.m.: Georgia’s Old Capital Museum Society will have its annual Artifact Identification Day in the museum’s Native American Gallery until 3 p.m. Experts will be on hand to identify unusual objects you may have found. The event and museum are both free of charge.

Monday, July 14

11:30 a.m.: The Middle Georgia Chapter 1051, National Association of Regular and Retired Federal Employees, meets at Golden Corral.

1 to 6 p.m.: The Oconee Center will sponsor a blood drive at its administrative building on North Jefferson Street (behind Golden Pantry). For more information, call 445-5518.
