— Theft by taking
Someone stole $120 worth of clothing from a Bell Avenue apartment between 9 a.m. June 11 and 9 a.m. June 20, a sheriff’s report states.
— Theft by taking
Someone stole a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,000 at the Baldwin County Sheriff’s new jail site on Highway 22 between 2 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, a sheriff’s report states.
— Habitual violator
David Byron, 49, of Eatonton was arrested and charged as a habitual violator after a sheriff’s deputy found Byron’s dark green 2002 Mercury Marquis in a ditch off the 600 block of Meriweather Road at 1 a.m. Tuesday. Byron was located passed out on the floor board of his vehicle, a sheriff’s report states.
— Giving false information to law enforcement
Vivian Rodriguez, 30, of Colony Farm Road was arrested for a probation violation. During an interview at the jail, the deputy learned that Rodriguez had given the name Vivian Luna, a sheriff’s report states.
— Driving while license suspended
Dennie Butts, 42, of Sparta Highway was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and without proof of insurance when he was stopped at the Jet Foods location on Garrett Way at 4 a.m. Tuesday, a sheriff’s report states.
— Driving while unlicensed
Ramon Morales, 35, address unknown, was arrested for driving his black 1989 Ford Van without a license at 11 a.m. Monday, a sheriff’s report states.

— Burglary
Someone forced their way into a Grandview Drive residence and stole a pair of Air Jordan shoes and five CDs for a total value of $150, a police report states.
— Aggravated battery
Jeffrey Shropshire, 32, of Lewis Court was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment and interfering with a 911 call stemming from an altercation that took place between 12:25 and 4 p.m. Tuesday, a police report states.
— Theft by shoplifting
A black male wearing a red shirt and blue shorts ran out of the CVS pharmacy located on South Wayne Street with a bag of unidentified merchandise at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, a police report states.
— Entering auto
Someone took a wallet containing a driver’s license and a social security card and three tomatoes valued at $3 from a Mercury Grand Marquis that was parked at the Sinclair Dam on Sinclair Dam Road between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, a police report states.
