— Theft by taking Someone stole $120 worth of clothing from a Bell Avenue apartment between 9 a.m. June 11 and 9 a.m. June 20, a sheriff’s report states. — Theft by taking Someone stole a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,000 at the Baldwin County Sheriff’s new jail site on Highway 22 between 2 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, a sheriff’s report states. — Habitual violator David Byron, 49, of Eatonton was arrested and charged as a habitual violator after a sheriff’s deputy found Byron’s dark green 2002 Mercury Marquis in a ditch off the 600 block of Meriweather Road at 1 a.m. Tuesday. Byron was located passed out on the floor board of his vehicle, a sheriff’s report states. — Giving false information to law enforcement Vivian Rodriguez, 30, of Colony Farm Road was arrested for a probation violation. During an interview at the jail, the deputy learned that Rodriguez had given the name Vivian Luna, a sheriff’s report states. — Driving while license suspended Dennie Butts, 42, of Sparta Highway was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and without proof of insurance when he was stopped at the Jet Foods location on Garrett Way at 4 a.m. Tuesday, a sheriff’s report states. — Driving while unlicensed Ramon Morales, 35, address unknown, was arrested for driving his black 1989 Ford Van without a license at 11 a.m. Monday, a sheriff’s report states.
