7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Wayne St. (478) 452-1444 10:30 to 11 a.m.: Children’s Story Time will be held at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library. 1 to 2:30 p.m.: Falun Gong offered at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) picnic area. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises suitable for all ages and all physical conditions. Classes are free. (478) 453-4241 3:30 to 4 p.m.: Children’s Story Time will be held at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library. 4 p.m.: The Mohawk Faith-Based Committee will meet in Mohawk Conference Room on Roberson Mill Road. 6 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Medical Center / Oconee Regional Health Systems, Inc. board holds its monthly meeting in the Administrative Suite Board Room. Thursday, June 19 7 a.m.: The Old Capital Kiwanis Club meets in Room 2-52 of Herty Hall on the GCSU campus. 8:30 a.m.: The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce Full Board meets in the Chamber Boardroom at 130 S. Jefferson St. 10:30 a.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library sponsors Terrific Thursday. GCSU's Ruth Eilers presents Bugabaloo, a program on bugs. 11 a.m.: Kirsten Blomberg will be speak in the Museum Education Room of GCSU on her experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa and her current latrine project. Sponsored by Academic Engagement and Hands On Milledgeville. Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.
