— D.U.I.
A sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop on a blue 1985 Chevy pickup driven by Darrell Wright, 39, of a Wright Drive address at the Robinson-Johnson Road/ Highway 49 intersection at 8:30 p.m. May 9. Wright tested positive on a roadside alcohol box and an open container of alcohol was observed in his vehicle. Wright was arrested for D.U.I. and failure to maintain lane, a sheriff’s report states.

— Driving on suspended license, speeding
A deputy reportedly clocked Thomas King, 58, of a Woodard Avenue address in Macon, as driving 76 mph in a 55 mph zone on Highway 49 near the 7 mile marker post at 4:09 p.m. May 7. King was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license and for speeding, a sheriff’s report states.

— Theft
Someone stole a 1995 brown Cadillac DeVille worth $2,000 from the lot of DIY Rentals on Ga. Highway 22 West sometime between May 1 and May 5, a sheriff’s report states.

— Theft by taking-entering auto
Someone stole a gray and black 26-inch mountain bike, a Sony Playstation 2, a pair of black, blue and white Nike Air Jordan tennis shoes from a Leo Court residence and a CD player from a silver 1996 Cadillac between 11 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, a police report states.

— Theft by taking
Someone stole a black Beretta handgun model 950BS from a Heritage Road residence between Dec. 7, 2007, and May 8, a police report states.

— Counterfeiting
A Century Bank employee found a counterfeit $100 bill Monday as they were sorting through their register, a police report states.

— Gas drive off
A black female driving a green, Toyota Camry sedan drove off without paying for $54.83 in gas at the North Jefferson Flash Foods location at 11:26 a.m. Monday, a police report states.

— Theft by taking
Cassandra Weathers, 19, of Eatonton was arrested for taking Verizon Pre-Paid Phone Cards from the North Columbia Kmart location on three separate occasions. The total value of the phone cards is about $204.63, a police report states.

— Gas drive off
A white female in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Houston County license plate drove off from the Roberson Mill Jet Food Store location without paying for $60.50 worth of gas at 8 p.m. Monday, a police report states.
