— Domestic dispute

Michael Andre Hurt of a Brooks Street address was arrested May 10 for battery and criminal trespass. Hurt allegedly struck his girlfriend, Katrina Heirs, in the face with his arm as she was bending down to pick up a phone he had thrown to the floor. The strike caused her considerable bleeding, a busted lip requiring stitches and a loose tooth. Hurt was charged with battery and was also charged with criminal trespass as a result of violating a Milledgeville Police Department notice of prohibited entry served to him in February. The state solicitor’s victims assistance office was notified of the incident and advised the victim had received a family violence brochure and a victim’s assistance brochure, a police report states.

— Vehicle burglary

Someone entered a Ford U-Haul style truck belonging to the Salvation Army, 420 S. Wilkinson St., sometime between 5 p.m. May 8 and 6 a.m. May 9. Tools were found missing from inside the cab, a police report states.

— Trespass

Three individuals were trespassed from a West Martin Luther King Drive rental property on Saturday at around 8:20 a.m., a police report states.

— Gas drive off

An unknown person pumped $104 worth of gas at the Jet Food Store, 1740 N. Columbia St., and drove off without paying on Saturday morning at around 8:30 a.m., a police report states. A Milledgeville police officer was able to make contact with the individual, who paid for the full amount of the gas, a police report states.

— Shoplifting suspect
